Time in NEW YORK........

WOW....... it has been for ever since I have blogged. I am such a slacker. I have busy and bored over the last 2 months that I have spent in NY. I have relearned a lot about myself and my family. My family is definitely crazy when we are all together. I learned that I can still drive in the snow and that I am not a fan of it. I also am not a fan of the cold.
I am very grateful to have been home for the holidays. I have not been able to spend the holidays at home or even have the time off for the holidays in 3 1/2 years. I was great to not have to worry about work or anything else while being home. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, we as a family get together and go to my grandmothers and over eat turkey and just hang out as a family. I love it. At this time I was also again reminded of the many blessing that I have been giving. I often sometimes forget to be grateful for what the lord had blessed me with.
Christmas was a blast this year. I did not get that much in the present department but that's ok. I would rather give gifts then get them in return, and I don't have antwhere to put anything that I would get. It all started off with a church Christmas party. My parent are the Activity co-chairs so I got to help with the planing. My 1st task was to help my dad with a homemade fireplace.

This was the out come. Not to bad.
My dad had come up with idea of Christmas morning. So everyone ( even the adults) came in there PJ's. The kids were going to be a train and they where to stop at different Christmas stations. The train because most of the TV Christmas movies have a train going around the tree. So that is why the kids were lined up in a train. At each station the kids learned the real meaning behind Christmas.

This is the kids starting the train and my dad showing them what to do.

The kids and the adults had a lot of fun. It made me remember what is was like to be a kid around Christmas. It made me want to be a kid again and not have the worries of the world and growing up.

I am grateful for the time that I got to spend with my 3 year old niece. It was the most time that I got to spend with here since she was born because I have lived in FL.

She is so Cute. I love this girl.

The best part about being home was that I did not have work to hard. I did have a job on the side doing computer work but it got boring really fast. I now know that I don't want to be stuck in an office all day looking at a computer. So I have come to the conclusion that I going to go back to FL where it is warm and I don't have to deal with snow.
